Mathematics

What is Math
Math is a subject that deals with numbers, theories, and logic, but it’s actually more than just solving problems on paper. Math is everywhere around us — in the time we check every day, in the prices we pay, in the patterns of nature, and even in the way buildings stand up. We use it without even thinking about it. Whether we’re planning our schedule, buying things, or just trying to understand how the world works, math is always involved. It helps us think more clearly and make better decisions. Honestly, humans can’t live without math — life would be pretty confusing without it. That’s why I think math is one of the most important subjects for students to learn and really master.
Precalculus 11
Pre-Calculus 11 at Palmer Secondary is a challenging but rewarding course for students who want to strengthen their math skills and prepare for higher-level studies like Pre-Calculus 12 or university math. The course builds on what you learned in Grade 10 and focuses on understandings algebra, functions and trigonometry in more depth. You will work with equations, graphs, and problem-solving involving quadraltic radicals, and trigonometric relationships. It's designed to help you think critically, apply math to real situations and gain confidence with the kinds of concepts used in science, business, and engineering programs later on
